What you get
Complete 1/2″ mechanical seal — spring-loaded carbon rotating face plus ceramic stationary seat, ready to fit.
How you know it’s this part
A wet ring on the pad under the pump that reappears every run, or a spa pump that hisses and drips for a few minutes after the jets stop. That’s the shaft seal — and on these models, this is the one.
Fitting
Around 30 minutes DIY: unbolt the wet end, swap both seal halves, wipe everything clean before reassembly — a single grain of grit between the faces will start a new leak. Install guides here.
