How quickly is my order dispatched?
It depends on whether the part is in NZ stock. In NZ stock, dispatched in 1-3 working days. Anything we don't hold is ordered in from our supplier when you buy it, then dispatched from NZ: about 2 weeks in total. Pump service kits and model-named pump parts (the seals, capacitors and bearing sets listed for a specific pump model) are always ordered in. Every product page shows "In NZ stock" or "Ordered in" for the exact option you've selected, before you buy. Tracking is emailed when your parcel ships.
How long does delivery take once it's dispatched?
Every parcel goes NZ Post, tracked. Most NZ addresses receive it 1-3 working days after dispatch; rural addresses can add 1-2 working days. If you need a capacitor on the same day, your local appliance repair shop is the right call.
How do I tell if a part is in NZ stock before I order?
The shipping panel on each product page reads our live stock. If the option you've selected is in NZ stock it says "In NZ stock, dispatched in 1-3 working days." If it isn't, it says "Ordered in for you, dispatched from NZ in about 2 weeks." The panel updates when you change terminal type, because stock is tracked per option, not per product. We hold NZ stock on the common CBB60 values most people need.
What if my order has both in-stock and ordered-in items?
We send it as one parcel once the ordered-in item arrives, so allow about 2 weeks for dispatch. Each product page shows which applies to every option before you buy.
Is the tracking number real?
Yes, it's an NZ Post tracking number that updates with each scan, right up to delivery. We email it as soon as your parcel is with NZ Post.
What if my tracking stalls?
Most parcels move smoothly, but occasionally a scan is missed or a parcel sits at a sorting hub for a few extra days. If your tracking shows no movement for more than 7 working days, email us with your order number and we'll chase NZ Post.
What if my package never arrives?
Tracked delivery has a very high success rate, but the rare loss does happen. If your order is significantly overdue with no carrier scan, we'll either send a replacement or refund in full. Your choice. Covered under our 90-day DOA guarantee.
Is there tax or anything else to pay on delivery?
CapacitorsNZ is not GST registered, so no GST is charged or added at checkout. The total at checkout (part plus shipping) is everything you pay: there's nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives.
