How you know it’s this part
The classic symptom: a water trail under the pump that comes back every time it runs, worst right after backwashing. On a pressure pump, short-cycling plus a damp patch under the motor flange tells the same story. If your model is listed, this fits. Unsure? Send us the plate photo and we’ll confirm.
Fitting
Half an hour with basic hand tools on most of these pumps: split the wet end, lever out the old seat, swap both halves, reassemble clean. Guides in our install library. Replace the casing o-ring at the same time.
