How you know it’s this part
The JP5/JP6 are near-silent workhorses, so the first sign is usually visual: a damp ring or mineral crust where pump meets motor. Pressure and cut-in behaviour stay normal until the leak gets serious — change it early.
Fitting
40 minutes, and the JP wants care: note the impeller stack order as you strip it, and seat the new stationary half square. Guide here. JP5 and JP6 run capacitors are in our Grundfos finder — worth doing together.
