Capacitors for hvac & heat pumps

Heat pumps, air conditioners and refrigeration condensers use run capacitors to keep the fan and compressor motors turning smoothly — sometimes a single dual run capacitor that handles both at once. Values typically fall in the 5–80µF range, and most factory parts are rated 370V or 440V. A 450V capacitor is a safe replacement for a 370V or 440V one (the higher voltage rating is a ceiling, not a target), so long as the µF matches. Read the µF and voltage printed on the side of your old capacitor — if you see two figures like 45+5µF, that's a dual-run (CBB65) capacitor, which we don't currently stock: contact us before ordering, because our single-value run caps only replace single-value originals.
Motor capacitors tagged for hvac & heat pumps — typical range 5–80µF · 370/440V, in stock now 5–80µF. Tracked via NZ Post or courier, on your doorstep in around 2 weeks. Not sure of the µF or voltage on your old part? Try the find-my-part wizard — three plain questions, about 30 seconds.
Heat-pump and AC fan motors usually take 4–6µF; the compressor side is bigger, typically 25–80µF. A label with two values like 45+5µF is a dual-run cap — contact us before ordering, we don't stock those yet. Example: 45µF · 450VAC CBB60. Not sure how to read your old label? Here's how, in 60 seconds.
