The run capacitor for the DAB K12/200
A 20 µF (20 uF / 20 MFD) 450 VAC CBB60 motor-run capacitor with lug terminals, sized for the DAB K12/200 centrifugal pump. Single-phase pump motors like this one run with the capacitor permanently in circuit, so a weak capacitor shows up as a pump that struggles to start or runs hot.
Signs the K12/200 capacitor has failed
- the motor hums but won’t start, or only starts when the shaft is spun by hand
- the pump trips the breaker or overload shortly after starting
- the motor runs hot and slow, or the old capacitor is bulging or leaking
A replacement must match the µF value (±5%) and be rated at least the voltage of the original. This one is rated 450 VAC, fine for a DAB K12/200 on a 230 V supply.
The same capacitor rating is used in the Davey PowerMaster, Pedrollo PKM90.
Before you order
Check the old part before fitting: match the µF printed on your old capacitor.
The value is printed on the side of the old capacitor as µF, uF or MFD.
