The run capacitor for the Davey Silensor SLL150
A 12 µF (12 uF / 12 MFD) 450 VAC CBB60 motor-run capacitor with lug terminals, sized for the Davey Silensor SLL150 pool pump. Single-phase pump motors like this one run with the capacitor permanently in circuit, so a weak capacitor shows up as a pump that struggles to start or runs hot.
Signs the Silensor SLL150 capacitor has failed
- the motor hums but won’t start, or only starts when the shaft is spun by hand
- the pump trips the breaker or overload shortly after starting
- the motor runs hot and slow, or the old capacitor is bulging or leaking
A replacement must match the µF value (±5%) and be rated at least the voltage of the original. This one is rated 450 VAC, fine for a Davey Silensor SLL150 on a 230 V supply.
The same capacitor rating is used in the Davey Dynaprime, Davey HS50, Davey HS60, Davey PACR100, Davey PCCR100, Davey PCCR150, Davey Silensor SLS75, Davey Silensor SLS100, Davey Silensor SLS150, Davey Silensor SLS200, Davey XP Series.
Before you order
Check the old part before fitting: match the µF printed on your old capacitor.
The value is printed on the side of the old capacitor as µF, uF or MFD.
